Drywall Patcher Paddle
After cutting a bunch of holes to run conduit through my house I needed a way to hold large patches of drywall.

Background
My home network project resulted in a lot of large square cuts out of my drywall. Not happy with pieces of wood since they tend to split, and not wanting to buy something. I thought I could design something that might work. Note: This material is not rated for fire and should not be used in fireblock walls or anywhere that might violate code. Interior un-insulated walls are mostly okay but consult your local housing code.

Things I Learned
- This design was adjusted in the slicer so it does not print the top or bottom layers. It's all wall and infill. This means that the screws fit through the lattice of the support and you put some wallboard compound on the patch paddle while you're installing it. The wallboard compound dries and it becomes a strong plastic/spackle matrix.

This was my original design. It was too small and did not work well.
